Commercial Agreements

We negotiate, draft, and advise clients about written business agreements of all types, including but not limited to leases, service agreements, purchase and sale agreements, supplier and distribution agreements, and licensing agreements. We also advise clients about their rights and responsibilities under such agreements to both prevent disputes from forming and facilitate informed decisionmaking after disputes arise.

Divorce and Family Law

Divorce is more than a legal process; it is a pivotal life transition. We believe that a deep understanding of our clients’ circumstances and needs positions us to provide on-target advice and exceptional advocacy in contentious divorce matters. We also handle related family law matters, such as child custody, adoption/guardianship, asset division, child support, and alimony.

Construction Law and Litigation

We have deep practical experience in construction law, from negotiating and drafting highly complex contracts (e.g., AIA) to representing owners, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers in matters involving payment disputes and mechanic’s liens, defect claims, delay and disruption claims, enforcement of contractual rights, and insurance/indemnity issues.

Employment Law and Litigation

We advise and represent both employers and employees with regard to employment contracts, noncompete clauses, terminations, wage and hour laws, family and medical leave, vacation policies, protected status discrimination, and other matters. We also assist employers to draft or update organizational policies and employee handbooks.
